A little armor, a little Peter Pan. This sculptural brass necklace by LAB by Laura Busony transforms the familiar rounded collar into a bold piece of wearable art.
Two broad, curved panels meet at the front with a small connecting link. Their hammered surfaces catch the light beautifully, giving the warm brass depth and movement. An adjustable chain and lobster clasp complete the design, with an oval designer tag near the closure.
Brooklyn-based designer Laura Busony began making jewelry while working in costume design. Her studio practice included cutting, shaping, sanding, and hammering her metal collars by hand—a thoughtful process reflected in their distinctive textures and sculptural forms.
Wear it over a simple dress, against a bare neckline, or tucked beneath a shirt collar for an unexpected flash of gold.
