This is a striking, authentic pair of vintage mid-century modern Brutalist-style elongated bird sculptures featuring a majestic rooster and coordinating hen. Standing an impressive 34.25 inches and 27.75 inches tall respectively, this pair commands attention with an iconic, sweeping silhouette reminiscent of the Hagenauer style.
Crafted from silver-toned sheet steel, these architectural pieces feature distinctive hand-welded construction, prominent torch-cut seams, and multi-layered tail feathers mounted onto solid, heavy metal round bases. They boast a gorgeous, polished finish with a wonderful age-appropriate patina.
Highly sculptural and perfectly paired for designer symmetry, this rooster and hen set makes an ideal statement display to frame an entryway credenza, a fireplace hearth, or a modern buffet table.
