Two have a drawer, one has three hooks, one holds a round mirror and one is divided by a shelf.

Each hexagonal frame is finger-jointed at every corner, so the end grain shows as a stepped pattern along the sides. The pale, honey-coloured pine of the frames contrasts with the darker back panels and their strongly figured, reddish-brown grain.

In the two drawer units, a shallow drawer with a brass-toned knob runs across the lower section, below an open compartment. Three matching knobs serve as hooks in the open unit, the mirror sits flat against its back panel, and a horizontal shelf splits the fifth unit into two compartments.

Because the units are separate, they can be hung as a honeycomb cluster or spaced out in a row. Each has fixing points near the top of its back panel.

The warm pine and visible joinery suit Scandinavian and rustic interiors. In a hallway or an eclectic room, the honeycomb geometry also makes the set work as a wall arrangement in its own right. See less
