It features a highly desirable lyre-harp silhouette on the side panels and an openwork spindle accent, marrying practical storage with timeless traditional styling. It stands at 18 inches high, 16 inches long and is 11 inches deep. It is a reproduction of the ones from the early 1880's but this one is from the mid-20th century. It has been restained throughout. Crafted from a rich, dark-stained hardwood, this caddy features an integrated central carrying handle and two spacious divided compartments to organize magazines, newspapers, or sheet music collections. The piece stands on gracefully flared outturned legs that offer stability while maintaining a refined silhouette. While in Galina, IL., I came upon this beautiful piece and purchased it upon sight.
