A three-door teak sideboard made in Scandinavia in the 1960s. The case is veneered in straight-grained teak. The top projects slightly over the front, and a solid teak frame with a rounded profile surrounds the doors at the sides and base. Each door carries an applied handle: a rectangular dark-wood surround with an oval slot, set slightly proud of the surface.
The interior is lined entirely in teak, back panel included, where the veneer shows a more pronounced flame figure than on the exterior. The left compartment holds three open-front drawers with teak fronts, suited to cutlery and table linen. The central and right compartments are separated by a vertical divider and each has one shelf. The sideboard stands on four straight cylindrical legs in solid wood. The construction is typical of early-1960s Scandinavian dining room furniture.
