A pair of gilt-metal bookcases by Maison Jansen, made in France and dating to circa 1950–1970. Condition: Good overall condition; scratches and dents consistent with age and use, shelves slightly bent with some tarnish to the metal in places. Both units slightly wobbly and would benefit from being fixed to the wall; deep scratches and staining in places, with humidity marks to the wood shelves. Ready to display. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution
