The varying tones, clean lines, and slender, slightly splayed wooden legs define the look of this mid-century piece.

The two doors are particularly eye-catching due to their vibrant interplay of colors. Lighter and darker sections alternate, giving the surfaces an interesting texture. The darker makore wood surfaces and the lighter birch veneer areas provide a beautiful contrast.

The upper section features an open compartment, offering space for books, ceramics, or other decorative items. Behind the two lockable doors, two shelves provide practical storage. A key is included.

The frame is constructed of beech and spruce wood and finished with birch and makore veneer. This highboard is crafted from a single piece of wood and its slim proportions make it versatile for use in a variety of settings – such as the living room, dining room, study, or hallway.

The highboard is in well-maintained vintage condition with age-related wear. Lighter and darker areas, as well as minor irregularities, are particularly noticeable on the colored door panels. Please refer to the detailed photos for further information.

The piece has been thoroughly cleaned. The surfaces of the top, sides, and legs have been refinished. The remaining wooden surfaces have been treated with high-quality, purified linseed oil using an odorless, residue-free solvent.
