The warm, honey-colored birch veneer front creates a charming contrast to the darker makore side panels. Narrow, dark decorative lines on the two doors emphasize the clean, period-typical design.

The gently rounded edges of the cabinet body, the slightly overhanging top panel, and the four slender, black-lacquered, tapered wooden legs give the cabinet an elegant yet light appearance. A fine example of functional furniture design from the 1960s.

Behind the two hinged doors lies a practical and well-designed interior. Two small, side-by-side drawers made of light wood provide storage for smaller items. These are complemented by two shelves and two fixed compartments, creating ample storage space. The compartments are approximately 23 cm high in the lower section and approximately 27 cm high in the upper section.

The cabinet is lockable, and a matching key is included.

Thanks to its slim design and versatile interior layout, this piece of furniture is suitable as a china cabinet in the dining room, a storage cabinet in the living room, a linen cupboard in the bedroom, or a stylish organizer in the study.

The frame is made of beech and spruce wood and finished with birch and makore veneer. The interplay of the different wood tones, the fine decorative lines, and the black legs makes this cabinet a distinctive piece of furniture from its era.

➡️ Condition:

This multi-purpose cabinet is in well-maintained vintage condition with age-related wear. The wood surfaces display a beautiful, warm color and a vibrant, natural veneer grain.

There are a few minor irregularities and signs of wear consistent with the age of the piece. The front, rounded edge of the tabletop shows more noticeable signs of wear in the form of paint abrasion and minor damage to the surface coating. The black-painted wooden legs also show signs of age. These details are documented in the product photos.

The piece of furniture has been thoroughly cleaned. The wood surfaces were then intensively treated with high-quality, purified linseed oil using an odorless, residue-free solvent. This careful surface treatment revitalizes the natural wood grain and beautifully highlights its warm color and characteristic texture.

Overall, the multi-purpose cabinet presents itself in well-maintained, authentic vintage condition and is ready for its next use. See less
