A highly recognizable classic of European mid-century modern design, this piece stands out for its bold organic forms and striking geometric angles.
The frame is masterfully crafted from solid beechwood, featuring a beautifully shaped spindle backrest that narrows slightly towards the top. One of the most distinctive design elements is the sharp, triangular execution of the open-frame armrests, which seamlessly connect to the dynamic, splayed legs and long, fluid rockers.
The wooden structure has been professionally restored and refreshed, enhancing its rich, deep-toned finish while beautifully accentuating the natural grain. The chair retains its completely original vintage tie-on seat and backrest cushions. The thick, textured woven fabric boasts a vibrant retro pattern of vertical stripes in orange, golden yellow, and white, completely authentic to the 1960s and 1970s aesthetic. Ergonomically well-proportioned, it offers an exceptionally smooth, comfortable, and relaxing rocking. See less
