It features a particularly refined mixed carving: geometric lozenge motifs on the side doors and a naturalistic floral carving (intertwined berries and stems) on the central door. The two turned cylindrical uprights separating the doors add rhythm to the front, while the lower panel is adorned with lobed carving. The scrolled feet are characteristic of furniture from this period. The interior reveals two compartments, each fitted with a shelf in a lighter, secondary wood. The oak top displays a beautiful antique patina, with a visible circular mark on the surface (a heat mark). A number on the back (w 21) suggests an institutional origin. The wear is visible and genuine: rubbed corners and slight wear on the bottom of the feet, which gives this piece an authentic character and a natural, period patina.
