A stunning antique Swedish display cabinet made from a variety of inlaid woods. This was made in Sweden, it dates from around the 1920-30’s.
The quality is outstanding, with a high level of craftsmanship displayed throughout. This is a useful size, with two adjustable shelves in the middle glass fronted section, and a single drawer that pulls out from above the cabinet section. The lower section has a drop down door that opens to reveal a bank of six felt lined drawers. There woods are combined to give a striking contrasting effect, with beautiful patterns on the inside and outside of the lower section. There are also high quality ormolu mounts all over.
We have recently had this re-polished, it is in excellent condition throughout, with just some extremely minor wear beneath the polish here and there.
