Solid pine stool with a slatted seat and frame structure, in the rustic yet modern style of 1970s Swedish design.
Solid pine stool with a straightforward construction: a seat with parallel slats and rounded edges, square-section legs joined by low crosspieces that form a sled frame. Crafted in generous thicknesses and left exposed, pine was one of the most iconic woods of 1970s Swedish design, when Scandinavian furniture rediscovered local Nordic woods and a rural simplicity. Distinct grain and warm honey hue. Good condition. May show signs of aging. Please refer to the photographs carefully.
