This teak wall shelf, known in Sweden as telefonhylla, was created in the 1950s and 1960s to house a telephone and directories in the entryway. Two drawers with recessed handles carved into the wood occupy the central section between shaped sides; below, a black lacquered metal wire shelf lightens the structure. This compact object reveals the attention to everyday functionality typical of Scandinavian design. Good condition. May show signs of wear. Please refer to the photographs carefully. See less
