Scandinavian teak nightstand from the 1950s and 1960s with a drawer with a recessed handle, a gallery top, and a lower shelf.
Scandinavian teak nightstand with slender proportions: a suspended body with a drawer with a recessed handle and a top surrounded by a low gallery on three sides, supported by tapered, splayed legs in light wood, joined by a lower shelf covered in woven rattan. The contrast between the teak of the body and the lighter tone of the base is a recurring feature of Swedish and Danish design from the 1950s and 1960s. Good condition. May show signs of wear. Please refer to the photographs carefully.
