A thick top with slightly irregular edges, pronounced grain and warm variation in tone, carried on a trapezoidal base with a central stretcher that gives it real architectural presence. Rustic in spirit and close to brutalist in its handling of mass — the kind of piece that sets the tone of a room rather than disappearing into it. At 120 by 50 cm it runs the length of a sofa without crowding it. See less
