Desk from the 1990s with an oblong top in beech, finished in a deep ebony tone, carried on a base drawn with real modernity. At 176 by 77 cm there is room for a screen, papers and a lamp without the surface feeling crowded, and the oblong shape means no corner to catch a hip walking past. It doubles as a dining table for six without ever looking like a desk pressed into service, which is what makes it useful where one piece has to do two jobs.
Excellent overall. The top is even and deep in colour, the base sound with no play in the joints.
