Original Toy wall lamp designed by Gaetano Sciolari in 1968 and produced by Ecolight Milano, Italy.
The lamp combines a white-painted spherical aluminium shade with a cream-colored rectangular mounting base and integrated switch. Its adjustable globe allows directional lighting while giving the object a distinctive sculptural character.
A characteristic example of late 1960s Italian modernism, the Toy reflects the period's exploration of geometric forms, compact lighting solutions and multifunctional domestic objects.
The model was produced in several colors and was also distributed by Metalarte in Spain. This example bears its original Ecolight Milano manufacturer's label inside the shade.
Designed for wall installation, the lamp can also be used on a bedside table.
Original electrical components, fully functional. Very good vintage condition with scattered signs of age and use.
