Model no. 1251, the lamp features a beautifully simple dome-shaped shade finished in deep matte red, giving it the clean geometric character associated with scandinavian and space age lighting of the period. The rounded silhouette feels sculptural without being overly decorative, making it equally suitable above a dining table, in a living room, or as a colourful focal point in a minimalist interior.

the red outer shade is paired with a large white diffuser underneath, which conceals the bulb and distributes the light evenly across its surface. When illuminated, the diffuser produces a soft, comfortable downward glow while the narrow red rim remains visible around the edge. This combination of direct illumination and a fully screened light source makes the lamp particularly practical for dining and ambient lighting, while retaining its characteristic 1970s appearance.

From its early years, the company collaborated with scandinavian architects and designers, developing lighting around the principles of simple forms, functional construction and comfortable illumination.
