This is a stunning stoneware pottery jug with fluting around the lower half and an art deco style emblem on two sides. The opening at the top is very small, less than 1" wide. The jug is marked on the base with the number 1005 and the letter 'R'.
No cracks or repairs, it is nice condition and has a cream, almost pale yellow color to it. The style and age can be likened to Rookwood, but it does not contain the typical mark. It is substantial in size, measuring 10.5"T x 6" at its widest point.
