A striking serving trolley designed by Flemming Lassen in 1943, one of the most important figures of Danish modernism.
This example comes from a later production, manufactured according to Lassen’s original 1943 design.
The frame is made of lacquered steel and rests on four metal castors. Distinctive chrome-plated elements of the upper frame contrast with the black structure and the grey-beige perforated surfaces.
The trolley features three functional levels. The upper section consists of a removable tray, complemented by a black middle shelf and a perforated metal shelf at the bottom.
Its minimalist and highly functional construction is an excellent example of Scandinavian modernism, where simplicity of form is closely connected with practical use.
It can be used as a bar cart, serving trolley, kitchen trolley or mobile drinks station.

Good used condition. Visible signs of use consistent with the age of the piece, including minor scratches, scuffs and localised marks to the lacquered surfaces. The condition is shown in detail in the photographs.
