The only other identical example I have encountered was an Hermès version, produced for the celebrated luxury house a different French silversmith. The maker of this example also maintained a professional relationship with luxury brand. While this example is not marked Hermès, it was crafted by a company associated with the production of high-end French desk accessories.

Marked with the French maker’s punch for AVM (Ateliers du Val de Marne). Although AVM is best known for its mid-century modern lighting, silver-plated desk accessories, and decorative metalwork. Research indicates the company collaborated with Hermès, and was acquired by the brand.
