Originally this light sat at the entrance to the home underneath the overhang. I believe it would look beautiful indoors or outdoors. It is so gorgeous the way the craftsman made the hand hewn detail throughout, I can tell that this light is very old by looking at the tarnishing of the metal. I believe that the metal used here was probably some type of brass, when lit this light is absolutely breathtaking. The color that emits is a warm gold hue. At one time or another the bottom glass was broken but you can have new glass put in. Despite would look wonderful any style home but particularly a Craftsman or Arts And Crafts style. I believe this light could even be pre-1920s. Total measurements are 24 inches wide by 24 without the chain and 29 inch with chain, a little flexibility for height See less
