An absolutely striking pair of mid-20th century Hollywood Regency “Coco Chanel” style table lamps, featuring sculptural metal sheaves of wheat finished in rich golden gilt. The stylized wheat and leaves rise gracefully from five ornate scrolled legs, all enhanced by a subtle crème speckled base finish that adds depth and texture.
Each lamp is crowned with a finely woven grasscloth lampshade and finished with a golden ball finial, adding an organic yet luxurious touch. These lamps epitomize the glamour and elegance of the Hollywood Regency era.
• One lamp retains its original Gilbert line cord switch (Patent No. 2,723,327, dated November 8, 1955); the other has been professionally rewired.
• Both are in excellent working order.
• Lampshades included.
These rare and beautifully preserved lamps are not only functional lighting pieces but also sculptural works of art, perfect for adding a dramatic vintage flair to any space.
