Crafted in France circa 1960, the tall vessel features a flared silhouette rising from a faceted octagonal pedestal base.

The wide mouth is finished with a deeply scalloped rim, giving the vase a graceful, flower-like profile. Intricate etched and cut decoration covers the crystal body, combining stylized sunflower heads, radiating stars, leaves, and geometric motifs. Broad polished facets frame the ornamental panels and reflect the light beautifully, creating depth and sparkle from every angle. A starburst design embellishes the underside of the thick base and completes the finely worked composition.

Generously scaled, the vase is ideal for displaying fresh flowers or tall decorative branches. It would also make an elegant standalone accent on an enfilade, console, buffet, mantel, or center table. Its clear crystal construction allows it to complement both traditional and contemporary interiors.

The Mid-Century vase is in very good condition commensurate with age and use, with small chips along some of the edges.
