From the area of Jingdezhen, a yellow Monochrome vase with very fine pate sur pate white glaze decoration of little birds and blossoming flower branches that extend upwards toward the neck area. The vase is translucent, the white pate 'lifts' off the surface, giving a delicate three dimensional effect. The painting is of excellent quality.
Clear Jindezhen kiln six character mark in blue underglaze.
A pretty piece of a lovely lemon colour with fine workmanship.
