This striking pair of vintage Leeazanne table lamps embody the bold, layered aesthetic of late 20th-century Postmodern design. Each lamp features a sculptural tapered body with a richly figured faux burl treatment accented by stylized faux bamboo-inspired banding, gilt detailing, stacked Lucite spacers, and substantial thick Lucite bases that give the design an elegant, architectural presence.
What I love most is the thoughtful combination of materials. The original oversized conical shades are finished in a beautifully executed faux leather treatment that perfectly complements the faux burl bodies. Combined with the gilt detailing and substantial Lucite bases, the layered mix of textures creates a refined, sculptural presence that feels both timeless and distinctly Postmodern.
These lamps make a statement whether illuminated or not. Their generous scale, dramatic silhouette, and rich neutral palette allow them to work beautifully in Postmodern, Hollywood Regency, Palm Beach, Modern or eclectic contemporary interiors.
