This Drexel Heritage nightstand comes from the Accolade collection and dates to 1978, at the end of the mid-century movement and the start of the post-modern era. Its Parsons-style form is clean and architectural, solid without being heavy.

Recessed campaign-style brass pulls sit flush against the warm, glossy wood grain, which is stained to a rich walnut tone. The table measures 22.5" wide, 27" deep, and 21.5" high, a size for a bedside, a pair at the ends of a sofa, or a study, where it holds a lamp and a crystal tumbler. Made in the United States, in the style of Karl Springer and Mastercraft, it suits Hollywood Regency, Mid-Century Modern, and Campaign rooms, and its clean geometry gives the eye a place to rest among bold wallpapers and colorful textiles.
