Vintage: C.1970's Michael Taylor Design for Baker Furniture Company, is this "Ming-Style," Fruitwood Fram with Burl wood veneered top, over … Read more Vintage: C.1970's Michael Taylor Design for Baker Furniture Company, is this "Ming-Style," Fruitwood Fram with Burl wood veneered top, over the mainframe, with carved out racetrack style openings on each side, and a recessed section above that all the way around, makes for easy handling moving to and from, but also offsets a simplified design esthetic. There are also original chrome foot protective bumpers to each leg and in tact. May be set in a vertical front to back or horizontal side to side look, depending upon each owns desirability and placement. In great condition, except for one wee small corner area on top, which probably needs to be treated with restore-a finish application, as it seems as if it the wood veneer had dried, or something placed n it dried in the process...but Does Not Detract from the quality, look and style, from a venerable Furniture company of quality and craftsmanship, that goes hand in hand. Makers' mark metal plate is affixed to the underside with the Model Number #1479.
