For your consideration a vintage pair of Curtis Jeré brutalist iron wire lion sculptures. Produced around the 1970s, these distinctive Mid-Century Modern pieces are made from welded iron wires arranged to create a whimsical, cage-like body and a radiant spiky mane.
Created by Curtis Jeré (the joint pseudonym for artists Jerry Fels and Curtis Freiler).
Welded iron or steel wire, typically featuring a black frame paired with a contrasting patinated.
