This Asian screen is made of thin sheets of off-white MARBLE surrounded by wood, most likely rosewood and another lighter wood fretwork at the bottom of each panel. If you hold the piece up to the light, you can see that the marble panels are slightly translucent giving the piece a nice luminescence.

One side of the folding screen is painted with blue birds, flowers, cherry blossoms, bamboo leaves and other foliage. The other side of the folding screen is a traditional Chinese mountain range scene with trees, houses and small flying black birds.

EXCELLENT CONDITION.....no flaws...just perfect!

A great accessory item for the trending Boho Chic décor that just loves to use birds, flowers and foliage in its interior design motifs. Of course will fit nicely into any Asian, Oriental or Chinoiserie home or apartment.
