This substantial mirror pairs a square, hand carved wood frame with a round beveled glass center for a bold sculptural profile. The frame is modeled with sweeping foliate relief and rosette accents that radiate from the corners and edges, and the surface shows a layered, timeworn patina that highlights the depth of the carving. The beveled edge adds dimension to the glass and complements the softly aged tonal variation across the wood. It is in good condition with visible and minimal wear from usage. See less
