A striking set of six vintage Arita Fine China porcelain bowls decorated in a richly patterned Imari palette of cobalt blue, iron red, green and gold. Alternating floral and geometric panels wrap each bowl, while a scalloped rim and central floral motif add additional detail.
Marked Arita Fine China and hand decorated in Japan, the set has the intricate color and pattern associated with traditional Imari-inspired porcelain while remaining highly usable for contemporary entertaining. Their size works well for rice, soup, desserts, small servings or decorative display.
Set of six.
A second matching set of six is also available separately in my shop, allowing a buyer to assemble a service of twelve.
