Excellent condition, very … Read more Outstanding set of 4 "pagrù" leather Armchairs, realized by Claudio Vagnoni for P1 in 1969. Manufacturer's label. Excellent condition, very rare. An iconic example of radical Italian design, the model embodies the experimental spirit of the decade through its bold, organic form and innovative construction. Each armchair features a generously padded, tubular structure upholstered in camel-colored leather. The design is characterized by its continuous, folded silhouette: a thick, cushioned seat flows seamlessly into the enveloping backrest, creating a soft, cocoon-like volume. The visible creasing of the leather enhances the tactile quality of the surface and emphasizes the chair’s informal, almost anthropomorphic presence. The upholstery is supported internally by a rigid frame, subtly visible at the junction between seat and back. The chairs rest on discreet black supports, allowing the sculptural mass of the leather volume to remain visually dominant while ensuring structural stability.
