It has a thick heavy marble top imbedded into the wood that shows no cracks or major damage. The Piece is fully handcarved with immesne detail from top to bottom. There are three drawers all matching in size. The front of the drawers have a carved floral pattern with a fully etched background. On the sides, the details continue to emerge with two hand painted scenes, with both sides having a different person. One side has a renaissance looking lute player, while the other has a maiden fanning herself with some simple birds above. Amazing statement piece that acts as both art and furniture!
