We are selling this great early 19th century American Folk watercolor portrait. The figure is well dressed and simply done in a wallpapered room. It is possible the paper has gotten overly wet at somepoint as the figure has lost all facial features besides his rosy cheeks and mouth.
Condition: Some water staining with browning to the paper.
