Beautiful and rare, vintage Murano hand blown jet black and ruby red bands Italian art glass flower sculpture / figurine. The piece is documented, and signed by designer Archimede Seguso, circa 1970-1980. The signature underneath reads "Archimede Seguso Murano". Believe the flower is a Tulip shape, with stem and attached leafs. It has 3 large petals, with an even larger Pistil in the center, profusely covered in gold leaf. Would make a great display piece on any desk, vanity, coffee table or curio cabinet. Gorgeous and elegant shape, with a striking color combination. You will be able to showcase it as a decorative piece in any room. Late Mid-century era. The flower measure 6" long x 5 1/2" wide x 3 1/4" tall. Fairly large for a flower.
