Embodying the height of Hollywood Regency sophistication, the heavy metal base features an exquisitely detailed, sculpted sheaf of wheat—a classic motif popularized by Coco Chanel—finished in a rich, warm antiqued brass/bronze tone.
I added a beautiful scalloped bell shaped capiz shell shade to top of this elegant lamp. The shade compliments the lamp so well. The shade features a beautiful grid pattern of luminous, iridescent capiz tiles trimmed with delicate lead or brass channeling, which casts a warm, dreamy amber glow when illuminated. This striking marriage of organic texture and sculptural metallic form makes it a brilliant statement piece for a chic living room, entryway console, or bedside table.
