What makes this piece really special, however, is the early 19th century carved wood frame. It is a dark wood (likely walnut) with decorative carved oak leaf corners, curving angles along each side, and a gold painted interior frame. The piece is in very good condition with antique glass and the original glass bubbles, and there is some old paper residue on one of the oak corner pieces, and overall a few very small cracks/dings, but no missing pieces and presents beautifully. and l but it's secure and ready to to add a wire and hang as-is! We don't know details about the home photographed other than that it's likely a Massachusetts home and someone has carved 'Park St' lightly on the backing board. Gently remove the backing nails if you'd like to replace the photo with your own! The whole frame measures 14" across and 12" tall at the furthest points and the glass front window is 9.5" by 7.5".
