According to the previous owner, this dining set is approximately 80 years old and was inherited from his grandparents. He identified the set as being made by Bernhardt. P.S . I do not ship internationally

I have not personally located or examined the manufacturer’s mark underneath the table because the table is made of exceptionally heavy, substantial wood and would require approximately three to four people to safely move or turn it over for inspection. Based on the impressive weight, quality of construction, fine craftsmanship, and overall design, it appears consistent with the high-quality furniture traditionally associated with North Carolina furniture manufacturing. However, since I have not personally inspected the manufacturer’s label, the Bernhardt attribution and North Carolina origin are based on the previous owner’s information and have not been independently verified.

The table has a beautiful high-gloss lacquered finish. Because of its highly reflective surface, it was difficult to photograph without reflections, so please keep this in mind when viewing the pictures.

Considering its age, this set presents beautifully. It does show signs of normal use consistent with its age, including some slight damage to the lacquer at one corner. Please examine all photographs carefully, as they are an important part of the description and show the condition in detail.

The table comes with two extension leaves, making it wonderful for larger gatherings and entertaining, as well as its original protective table cover.

Despite being approximately 80 years old according to the previous owner, this dining set remains absolutely stunning. The substantial weight of the table, quality of the craftsmanship, beautiful glossy finish, and Asian-inspired detailing give it an impressive presence that is difficult to capture fully in photographs.
