These were produced by local artists … Read more Rare to market pair of Mid-20th-century Italian hand-painted tourist portraits of two individual women. These were produced by local artists in cities such as Rome, Venice, and Florence, of tourists who desired an original painting of themselves. These two examples feature one woman sitting on a chair on a balcony with houses and a mountain scene behind her. While the other is standing against a railing with the ocean behind her. The first one is illegibly signed on the bottom right corner. We found them to be quite delightful and capture a period of history.
