Since the 1990s, PRIVATE has paired documentary and fine-art photography with essays and captions in multiple languages, covering subjects from urban life to portraiture to photojournalism from around the world.

This lot includes five distinct issues, each built around its own theme: No. 22 opens with a photo-essay featuring VU' Agence photographers and a study of the Time Moving & Storage company; No. 23 is devoted to the body, exploring fusion, eroticism, and sensuality through black and white nude photography; No. 24 traces the evolution of Greek photography; No. 25 documents the inner city of Saint Petersburg; and No. 30, from Summer 2005, is dedicated to Iran, titled "I Awake in Your Eyes."

Each issue is printed on quality matte stock with the magazine's signature black-and-white photo essays and multilingual text. See less
