Rustic hand forged Persian copper ewer, c.1800
Traditionally used for holding and pouring water. Made from hand planished or hammered copper, as seen by all the hand beaten marks on the surface. It has a wonderful aged patina with natural verdigris. The visible seam lines indicate that it was hand made.
