I always intended to paint it in Gold Leaf and creamy ivory white with jewels embedded around and under the saddle, but there never seemed to be enough time for that and all the other large paintings I was creating of African animals. Now I'm in a much smaller home and there is not enough studio space in which to paint this beautiful creature, so I will allow it to be someone else's treasure. It is extremely heavy, at least 95 pounds. See less

- It is in like new condition, just needs a good scrubbing to remove dust and clean it more. I have … moreIt is in like new condition, just needs a good scrubbing to remove dust and clean it more. I have had it for at least 50 years and although it has been moved to four different homes, there has never been any damage of any kind. Even though it is made with fiberglass, it is extremely heavy. I would estimate at least 95 pounds. It is very sturdy and extremely well made. less
