Crafted in solid oak, each chair features a tall caned back with a gently rounded profile, framed by carved rope-twist detailing and foliate motifs. The rounded caned seats are set within substantial carved frames with rope-twist decoration along the aprons. The chairs stand on distinctive carved legs with prominent scroll motifs, fluted detailing, and gently curved profiles. The warm oak frames retain a rich patina that highlights the depth of the carving and natural grain of the wood. The chairs have been structurally restored, cleaned, and polished with wax while preserving their original character and age-related patina
