Expressive elongated figures stand against a deep black ground in Le Sacre du Printemps (The Rite of Spring), attributed to Italian artist Marino Marini. Accents of pink, blue, green, yellow, and red punctuate the composition, lending movement and contrast to the sculptural forms.
Presented under glass with a warm cream mat and an ornate, antiqued gold-tone frame. The richly patterned frame provides an elegant counterpoint to the modern composition.
