Antique hand-hammered copper vessel featuring dovetailed copper seams and substantial forged iron side handles. The rounded, deep form and hand-worked construction reflect its original utilitarian purpose, while the naturally aged copper surface gives the piece strong decorative appeal.
The copper has developed a warm, varied patina with areas of oxidation, surface marks, dents, and discoloration consistent with age and use. The interior retains additional signs of age and wear. A substantial early copper vessel that works equally well as a decorative bowl, planter, or centerpiece.
