An elegant 20th century modernist style still life composition, executed in oil onto canvas and dated 1986.

Two stylised green fruit rest upon a pale tabletop, their simplified geometric shapes illuminated by strong directional light that casts long, angular shadows across the composition. Rather than pursuing realism, the artist celebrates the quiet beauty of ordinary objects through carefully considered planes of colour and an understated sense of harmony.
