Each frame is hand carved hardwood, studded across the arms and base in brass rosettes and borders, with a gallery of turned balusters running below the seat. The backs and seats are hand woven in natural rope, and each chair keeps its embroidered cushion in deep red silk.

The pair measures 24 inches wide by 17 inches deep by 28 inches high and weighs roughly 20 pounds. Sold only as a pair.

Condition is original and unaltered, with the wear you would expect of a piece of this age. There is some softening and loss to the rope weave, minor loss to individual brass studs, and light surface marks and color variation across the wood. The cushions show gentle fading. Structurally sound.
