Charming vintage handcrafted wooden model car depicting an early Ford touring automobile. Made from contrasting woods with individually shaped fenders, running boards, headlights, bumpers, spare rear tire, canopy roof, interior seating and hand-drawn detailing throughout. The dashboard even features individually rendered gauges and instrument-panel details.
The wooden wheels are fully functional and roll/turn, adding to the craftsmanship and character of the piece. “Ford” is hand-marked across the front grille. Constructed as a decorative model with a wonderful folk-art quality rather than a precise factory scale model.
A distinctive object for a library, bookcase, office or collection of vintage automotive memorabilia. Particularly well suited to traditional, equestrian, English country or Ralph Lauren–inspired interiors.
