The aircraft features double wings, slender wooden struts, fine rigging lines, twin pontoons for water landings, carved tail surfaces and a detailed radial-style engine cowling.

The wooden propeller is functional and spins freely by hand. Particularly appealing are the variations in wood tone and grain, from the warm honey-colored fuselage to the darker wings, floats and propeller.
